These 8 dresses are the world's most iconic dresses. Iconic because from celebrities to ladies to kids all tries to don these attires .They are the most popular dresses fit to be kept in museums or being auctioned for millions of dollars. These are dresses which made a statement so strong that even after so many years internet is full of maidens wearing the similar outfits and recreating their style.


                                               1 . Little Black Dress of Audrey Hepburn


Audrey Hepburn wore a black dress that made such a strong statement in the Fashion world that even today people get inspired from it.
          Internet is full of images of people trying to ape the same attire. Natlie Portman appeared on the page of magazine Harper Bazaar wearing one of the original dresses and again Tina fey tries to recreate attire for Entertainment weekly.
         Designed by French designer Givenchy this dress was auctioned in 2006 for £467,200.

  It is a halter neck bodice dress with pleated fabric giving it a beautiful  fall.

It was auctioned recently in 2013 for £240,000 .
